Goodreads: Book Reviews App Reviews

I LOVE this app! I use it all the time to track the books my kids and I are reading, and books I hear about that I want to read, or they do. I even use it to track curriculum Im using and make a shelf for each school year! Its great for seeing at a glance what weve read for the year ( I make a shelf for each kid each year so its quick and easy!) ...and I even use it make a record of specific book recommendations Ive gathered for specific topics, so that I can share it with the listeners of my podcast, the Savvy Homeschool Moms! I couldnt survive without this app!!!

The app is good for keeping your shelves up to date, but it has a MAJOR down fall: The thing that I find infuriating and debilitating bout this app is that it doesnt offer links to buy the books you are browsing through. The actual website has these options, why doesnt the app? I honestly dont use the app because of this missing feature. Please add those links!!

A solid app good for keeping track of the books Ive read as well as the ones Im reading aloud to my kids. I am not interested in the social-networking aspects of the site, but I have found some good book suggestions through the app.

That I have found. There doesnt seem to be a better way to track book recommendations, find book reviews and follow what friends are reading. There are so many options for following authors, joining book clubs and for making reading a more social experience. Introverts unite..... From home..... Behind a screen..... Over books. Best ever concept.

I love being able to keep track of books I read and want to read. The suggestions are awesome and I enjoy seeing what my friends are reading and their reviews. This is a great friendly community!

This app is great. It has helped me stay motivated to read more. Its also really awesome for suggesting new books and showing me what my friends are interested in also.

I use goodreads for both personal use and also for a book club I moderate. The phone app is no where near the desktop website. You cant access half the options of your groups through the app. Which makes it impossible to keep organized when trying to work from the phone.

Love the app. The only thing Id like is ability to be able to change the position of a book on my lists.

I used this app several times a week and like how easy it is to navigate. Everything it does, it does well. The only thing it doesnt do that I would like is to allow me to see the specific URL for my review of a book. I read lots of ARCs and share the URL to my review with the publisher. Currently, I have to use my web browser in order to get that URL.

A great book lover app, and it seems like the only one of its kind. I only wish you could edit your bookshelves or profile from the mobile app.

Seriously, tracking the books I read AND the books I want to read? Amazing.

I found GoodReads as a way to catalog what Ive read then I discovered it had so much more to offer!! Connecting w/ friends and adored authors as well as making to-be-read lists to your liking. I especially the the scanning option: I can see a book at a store, scan it and at it to my lists!!

Thanks for helping me keep track of what I read so I can look back later when I want to recommend books to others or want to read other books by authors I already read. I enjoy the reading challenge its very encouraging.
